One of the best places to get questions answered is the OSBA Message Board. Many beekeepers from Oregon and across the country and even a few in Canada are contributors. You can get any question answered here. Check it out by clicking the "message board" menu item above and then clicking "main board". Beginners should subscribe to at least one of the national beekeeping magazines, which are available at a discount with your OSBA membership. These include: Bee Culture, A.I. Root Co., P.O. Box 706, Medina, OH 44258, ph 1-800-289-7668 x 3220, fax 330-725-5624. This is found at www.beeculture.com/content/whoswho/ Finally, all beekeepers should become members of their local, state and national beekeeping associations. The most active national association is the American Beekeeping Federation: www.abfnet.org |
